Dr. Al Saudi has 30 years’ experience in Design, Academic Development and Construction Management. He is actively involved in sustainable development and safety in design. His specialization in Design and Build project delivery strategy approach made him focus on integrated and holistic approach to design and construction. He also encourages the collaborative dialogue between the design and construction team as this synergy will yield better, more economical and successful projects.

As an Architect Dr. Al Saudi started his professional career in 1985 with a local consulting firm OMRANIA AND ASSOCIATES CONSULTING ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS.
Trained at Omrania UK London office, and in 1990 he was promoted to Head of Architectural and landscape Department. He stayed with Omrania Riyadh and London offices till 2007.

 4/5 Millbank Office and Residential Building, London, UK
 Abraj Atta’wneyya (NCCI Headquarters Building), Riyadh (20 floors, twin towers)
 Aramco Office Building, Riyadh Refinery, KSA
 Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO) HQ Riyadh, KSA
 Gulf Cooperation Council and HQ, (GCC) Riyadh, KSA
In 2007 Dr. Al Saudi took the position of Design Director at the Engineering Division of SAUDI OGER. Projects involved in:
 Managing large projects that require forming international multidisciplinary design firms,
 Responding to Design competitions on Design and Build Basis (EPC) approach.
 Preparation of contractual documents, RFP’s,
 Controlling the design process and cost plan to meet the project's objectives.
Some of the major projects under his project management to date or were completed recently are:
1. King Saud University for Health Sciences. National Guard, Riyadh –D/B Master plans and Architecture.
2. Jabal Omar Development, Makkah, Mixed use Master Plan.
3. Princess Noura University D/B Master plans and Architecture.
4. King Abdullah Financial District Project, Riyadh. Developing the design for two towers on D/B basis.
5. King Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian services.
His 33 years professional career working in the Kingdom and in Europe and collaborating with Regional and International Design Firms enabled him to work with international building codes and standards. His particular interests cover: Design and Build Procurement, Tall buildings design, Health and Safety Studies, Integrated approach in Design, Mass movements, Accessibility Studies, Sustainability and LEED compliance. He is experienced with international industry codes and standards including IBC, NFPA, SNBC, FEMA etc….
