Anna Angelin has a Ph.D. from School of Social Work, Lund University, Sweden where she currently also hold a position as Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer. Her main research interests are labour market and social policy studies. Her research also includes analyses of unemployment protection, benefit dependency and understanding of Human Service Organization performance in Social Welfare services. Dr Angelin was from 2013-2016 Head of Research for EconSec, Lund University Economic Security Institute, a cross-disciplinary research institute focusing on studies of the impact on economic security for individuals and society related to the increasing use of credit and debts. Major previous research projects has been a grant from EU FP 7 for the three year research project COPE which studied EU member states approaches to combating or reducing poverty and exclusion and the 4-year international research project “Youth Trajectories: A Longitudinal Study of Risk Factors for Marginalization in Finland, Norway and Sweden". Dr Angelin is living in Riyadh since 3 years and has worked as a consultant researcher for the World Bank on Social Policy development in KSA as well as continuing teaching and researching for Lund University. Dr Angelin started to work at Alfaisal University in 2018.
