Ahmed Hamidalddin is a lecturer in electrical engineering at Alfaisal University. He graduated from KFUPM (Dhahran, KSA) with a BSc degree in 2007, and from USC (California, USA) with a MSc degree in 2011, both in electrical engineering.
Ahmed held the position of researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and technology (KACST) from 2007 to 2009, then from 2011 to 2019, where he worked on the design, fabrication, characterization, laboratory operation, project management, and publication for nano-structures, devices, and systems, mainly in photonics and electronics, where he holds a patent and a number of publications.
Ahmed became a lecturer in the College of Engineering at Alfaisal University in 2019, where he teaches electrical engineering courses and labs, as well as continue research and engineering activities. His research interests are in electronics and photonics (lasers, LEDs), and focus on developing device technologies in terms of performance and efficiency.
