Dr. Abdul Rehman Zia Zaidi is a promising physician & healthcare leader with many achievements in medical science. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer of Family Medicine & Community Medicine at Alfaisal University. He was previously the Corporate Medical Administrator at the Corporate Physicians' Affairs and Academic Affairs at Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group, where he was also the Administrator at the Corporate Research Center and the Institutional Review Board. In addition, he long served as the Editorial Manager of the Journal of Applied Hematology. He also served as a physician and a senior clinical research associate at the Department of Medicine, King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds postgraduate diplomas from the Chartered Management Institute (UK), University of Chicago (Healthcare Informatics), and George Washington University (Healthcare Management), along with an MBA (Global Healthcare Management). He has more than 7 years of clinical and research experience in Saudi Arabia and North America, and has mentored multiple professionals throughout his career, including young physicians, medical students, management staff, clinical research associates, research coordinators, clinical pharmacy students, and more. In his career, he has trained and practiced in leading medical institutions such as Toronto General Hospital, Swedish Covenant Hospital, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. He has more than 60 publications and research papers in leading scientific journals. He has received multiple awards, along with a best scientist ranking award among his peers as per the Stanford University Report 2022. He holds a deep interest in internal medicine, adult hematology, thrombosis, primary care, public health, medical education, and healthcare management.
