Baraa Alghalyini is the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and she also serves as the Chair of the Family and Community Medicine Department. She is a consultant family physician at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto. Member of the Advisory Council, the Besrour Center for Global Health at the College of Family Medicine Physicians of Canada.

Baraa is dedicated to integrating the social determinants of health into medical education at the grassroots level. Her main areas of interest include global health, equitable preventive care, and personalized medicine.
