Emily Wilson, PhD.

Dr. Emily Wilson is the chair of the English department and an Assistant Professor of English at Alfaisal University. Dr. Wilson also founded the Academic Success Center, a peer-to-peer writing and tutoring center, in 2020, and has served as the Center's director ever since. Her master's degree is in English Literature and Rhetoric from Colorado State University, and she has a joint PhD in English and Education from the University of Michigan. Dr. Wilson's research is primarily in writing studies, with an emphasis on instructor feedback, writing to learn, and writing across the curriculum. She has also published papers regarding the impact of peer tutoring on student tutors.
