Dr. Einas Yousef is an academic and researcher passionate about histology, cell biology, and molecular biology. She earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology (option: Systems’ Biology) from the University of Montreal, Canada, and a Master’s in Medical Education from Maastricht University and Suez Canal University, graduating with honors. Her academic career combines advanced research expertise with a passion for innovative medical education.
Dr. Yousef is currently an Assistant Professor of Histology at Alfaisal University, KSA. She has held leadership roles, including Head of the Medical Education Department and Scientific Research Unit at Dar Al Uloom University in Riyadh. With experience in teaching integrated medical curricula and mentoring students in research, she has also contributed to developing and coordinating several medical education courses and programs.
Her research is primarily focused on identifying biomarkers for cancer, particularly breast cancer, with notable studies on MMP-9, MCM2, and molecular subtypes of aggressive cancers. Her work also extends to neurotoxicity, inflammation, and exploring therapeutic strategies involving epigenetics and nanotechnology. Dr. Yousef has published extensively in high-impact journals and presented her research at numerous international conferences. Recognized for her contributions to science and education, Dr. Yousef has received several awards and research grants. Dr. Yousef is passionate about inspiring future medical professionals and contributing to the ever-evolving field of medical science.
