Dr. Saima Jabeen earned a Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2014. Throughout her career, Dr. Jabeen has held assistant professor positions at several reputable institutions and has also taken on significant administrative roles, including Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science at UW, the 1st Head of the Department of IT and Computer Science, and lead of the Data Science program at PAFIAST, Pakistan. In 2021, she completed executive training on "Fachhochschule Teaching and Management" from FH|Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz and MCI: The Entrepreneurial School in Innsbruck, Austria. Currently, Dr. Jabeen is a Research Fellow at the AI Research Center within the College of Engineering at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data/Text Mining, Databases, Social Network Analysis, Healthcare frameworks, and Biomedical applications.
