Dr. Safia Yasmeen is an interdisciplinary academic and practitioner at Alfaisal University, specializing in Software Engineering, DataScience, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, and Education. She integrates technology with human-centered approaches to design ethical, inclusive, and future-ready learning environments.
She holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Osmania University and a postgraduate qualification in Artificial Intelligence and Business Logic from Texas University. She is currently pursuing her third Master’s degree in Psychology, while actively practicing in both Psychology and AI.
Her research focuses on biometric data security using AI, with contributions including multiple research publications and three patents registered in Germany. She has prior academic experience at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology and King Khalid University.
Dr. Yasmeen also serves as a Student Counsellor and Capstone Mentor, supporting Graduates, postgraduate students in research, academic development, and career guidance.
She has delivered workshops on AI in Education, focusing on ethical AI use, digital transformation, and student well-being.
Her work bridges AI, psychology, and education to promote responsible innovation and human-centered learning in higher education.
